Hello – I’m Carole and as Carole Thurston Catering, based in Chinnor, Oxfordshire, I provide traditional, home cooked food in towns and villages throughout Chinnor, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Surrey – including, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Henley, Amersham, Cookham, Beaconsfield and Sandhurst.
As a small and independent catering company, I remain friendly, approachable, reliable and flexible – making sure you feel at ease with me and confident about your event.
I use local produce…
The majority of dishes on my menus are home-made from raw ingredients. I buy most of my meat from an excellent butcher in Benson, Oxfordshire. For other ingredients I use local supermarkets and farm shops.
I have a large selection of menus for you to look through. You can choose hot or cold meals or buffets. Alternative dishes can be substituted for those shown. Menu price will be governed by the cost of ingredients and length of preparation time of dishes.
Just because you don’t see a dish on the menus doesn’t mean you can’t have it – please ask. If I haven’t cooked it before and providing you have a recipe, I will be happy to give it a try. I’ll treat it as a challenge. If it is totally impractical, I’ll tell you so.

My catering business thrives on a personal touch; I like to visit you to go through all the options and really get an understanding of what you want for your event. However, I am happy to arrange your catering over the phone if this is more convenient for you.

I am professionally trained and have been working in the catering business for over 30 years. My premises are regularly inspected by the local council and I have a Food Hygiene Rating of 5: Very Good.
